The Academy is a working body piercing studio offering piercings to the public 6 days a week. In our modern well equipped piercing room and training classrooms, our body piercing courses range from surface and micro dermal anchor courses, to full all over body piercing courses (including genital piercing).
Our studio and training centre is based in the conveniently located town of Alfreton (jct28 M1) near Derby in the centre of the UK. "The Academy" teach people from all over the UK and we specialise in body piercing training for both new entrants and experienced body piercers alike.
We pride ourselves on offering professional body piercing in a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment. The Academy Studio uses new needles and single use disposable items for every client to ensure each client a safe and professional piercing. We sterilise our instruments using a fully automated autoclave, similar to those found in hospitals and dental surgeries. This ensures your piercing is performed using the latest industry standards.
Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.

The Academy - body piercing school of excellence, is an approved training centre with a City and Guilds certified teacher (In accordance with law) and training takes place in a relaxed and professional environment.

In fact we are one of the few piercing training providers in the UK that does actually have a city and guilds qualified teacher.
