Who is it for?

The foundation diploma in body piercing is aimed at complete beginners with a keen interest in becoming a body piercing artist. You will not need any experience to get started.

About the course

This jargon free course offers our students a first class introduction to body piercing.

We will provide you with a detailed insight to all aspects of the most popular piercing placements, how to pierce some one without making it bleed, blade and cannula piercing techniques, history of body piercing, health, safety and hygiene, blood borne viruses, controlling cross contamination, aftercare, anesthetics, basic first aid, and advice on starting up your own piercing studio.

We are aware you cannot learn to pierce in 3 days so while many providers try to decrease the course length and increase the price we have done the exact opposite with this course. By lowering the price and increasing the course study time.

The course emphasis is on practical training complimented by theory. You will carry out body piercings on clients while being supervised by your dedicated course tutor.

The course consists of 2 main training sections:

1. HOME STUDY THEORY TRAINING
2. ONSITE PRACTICAL TRAINING

The coursework with be sent out to you 14 days prior to visiting us at the school to enable you to study in the comfort of your own home at a pace that suits you. This way you will have extra time to familarise your self with all aspects of basic body piercing. You will then be required to attend the school for 3 days for your hands on practical experience. Here you will practice real piercing in a real studio on real cleints.

We believe practice makes perfect, and so you will be encouraged to perform as many piercings as possible.

How long does the course take?

This course is a 17 days course for the same price as a 3 days piercing course. The period of 17 days is broken down into two main sections, 14 days home study and 3 days onsite practical training.
