Refund Policy for Learning Courses

Courses purchased not in person by Credit / Debit Card or Cheque/Cash

You are entitled by law to a 'cooling off' period of 7 days.

If within 7 of enrolling on a course you change your mind, you may cancel your order by emailing us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or calling 01773 521212 and returning any course materials within the said 7 days (via 1st Class Recorded Delivery) to us for a full refund of the original purchase price.

You the consumer are liable for all costs incurred in returning the goods.

A refund will be issued by a company cheque with in 30 days.

Refund Policy for Practical Courses  / Workshops.

Deposits are paid to secure a course place and in the instance of residential packages a percentage of the deposit may be forwarded to the hotel to secure accommodation (as well as a course place) at the venue where the course is to be held.

In the event of a student cancelling a course or workshop any deposits/course fees paid will be forfeited.  If the cancellation is less than 14 days prior to the course or workshop place booked the full course fee is due and no refunds will be issued.

In the case of workshops where the full workshop fee has been paid no refunds or transfers to another date will be accepted unless otherwise agreed.

Deposits or course fees paid are to secure a place on your chosen course date; fee's are therefore non-transferable.

No refunds will be given for non-attendance of a course or workshop.

If a course transfer is required to a different date, notice should be given to The Academy - body piercing school of excellence ltd no less than 14 days prior to the course start date. An admin fee of £150 will be incurred by the student to transfer the course.

The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd must refund all monies paid for a course or workshop but not exceeding the amount paid for the course or workshop required; if the applicant is not accepted onto the course as places are limited.

This includes instances where a course is cancelled by The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd..

When a student is accepted onto a course or workshopThe Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd send an email and /or letter to confirm that a place has been booked on the required course or workshop.

Delegates will only be deemed accepted onto a course or workshop once a written confirmation has been issued by The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd

The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred by booking hotels or travelling costs.

The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd reserve the right to amend published course dates and/or venue. The Academy - body piercing school of excellence Ltd also reserve the right to cancel course/workshop dates with 7 days notice.

Delegates in this instance will be transferred to another course/workshop date/venue or given a full refund of all fees paid (all refunds do not exceed the cost of the course or workshop).

All course fees must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to course or workshop.

By booking on a course or workshop persons are accepting the above conditions.
